To the beach!

Love that it is March and we could spend a beautiful day by the ocean! One of my favorite things about living here! Not that it couldn't be cold and rainy tomorrow. Southern CA is so unpredictable in the spring. But we made the most of today! Spent a few hours anyway - it was just perfect. We met some friends from church, ate lunch, talked, dug in the sand, shot a few pictures and headed home. Last time Sierra went to the beach she was only a few months old and sleeping under a nursing cover most of the time. It was so fun to see her get her toes in the sand and watch her Dad dip her into the water. I thought it was cold, but she loved it! Lily was mostly too fast to photograph, having a blast with her friends - she's always dodging my camera - so that's why there are more photos of Sierra these days. I have the hand in front of the face shots to prove it to her. Sierra hasn't learned to dodge yet, but she is pretty good at making a wrestling match out of a diaper change! ...Some photos from today!
