Trick or Treat

Finally some pictures of the very pink fairy princess! Sierra would not wear her costume to her preschool party in the morning, and I was getting a little nervous about her even putting it on at all, but apparently she just really wanted to save it for Halloween night!

We had a fun get together with her cute little preschool friends and she compromised with me and went as a black cat.

She did such a good job forming her own little pumpkin!

Here is the official costume - though her Twinkle Toes shoes made it even cuter.. It was so cute watching her feet twinkle from house to house while we were trick or treating.

I got an email saying kids in costume ate free at Dickey's so we headed over there before our church Trunk or Treat. Much better than candy in my book.

They love the free ice-cream though it doesn't taste like much to me. I go for the BBQ :)

It was windy and sprinkled a little off and one through the night so we kept Sierra in her coat, though Lily insisted she was fine in her many layers. I made her costume lace up in the back so we could stretch it over her black coat if need be, but honestly with all her layers she probably would have been too hot.

The girls used umbrellas most of the time while trick or treating and got as many compliments about how smart they were for having them as for how cute they looked in their costumes.

We got way too much candy and headed back to Grandma and Grandpa's house for hot cocoa with the devil.

It was a fun night and I'm so glad the girls enjoyed their Halloween!

Thank you to the girls Grandma's for finding the perfect glowy things to match the girl's costumes!

Hope you all had a fun night, too!
